The Avid Reader will be welcoming back local author Fallon O’Neill and his latest work of fiction, Geist Intermezzo, in-store on Saturday, November 16th.
More about Geist Intermezzo:
Fallon O’Neill’s Geist Intermezzo is the second in O’Neill’s series of dark fantasy and gothic dystopia. The Avid Reader hosted O’Neill a year ago for the first in this series entitled Geist: Prelude. That title followed college student Victor Roland, high functioning autistic, in a world of 1884 in the city of Holy Gothica as he calls on a facet of his own psyche to battle evil in the city and among his friends trapped there.
Geist Intermezzo continues the journey of Hector Thaddeus, an excommunicated inquisition agent, and Victor Roland, a former prisoner, as they attempt to solve a case that Thaddeus had not been able to complete.
Thaddeus and Victor travel to the wasteland realm of an infamous terrorist cell in this tale of mystery and murderous rebellion, to justice and a truth long forgotten.
