Davis residents Marti Smiley Childs and Jeff March are business partners in EditPros LLC, an editorial services firm in Davis, Calif., established in 1993. Their first book, Echoes of the Sixties (first published in 1999 by Billboard Books and re-released by EditPros LLC in 2011 as a Kobo eBook), is available through the Avid Reader website. It includes 12 chapters, featuring the Fireballs, Gary “U.S.” Bonds, the Tokens, the Angels, Peter and Gordon, Mike Pinder of the Moody Blues, Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs, the Lovin’ Spoonful, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, Country Joe and the Fish, and Iron Butterfly.

Where Have All the Pop Stars Gone? – Volume 1, is the first in a series of books of the same title that features “then and now” portraits of bands and artists whose music helped define the popular culture of their time. Volume 1 includes authorized chapters on the Association, Herman's Hermits, the Kingston Trio, Chris Montez, the Spiral Starecase, Bobby Bee and the Zombies. This book is available in paperback at the Avid Reader, as well as a downloadable eBook through the Avid Reader's website.
