Author David Herlihy will be at the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame, 303 Third Street, here in Davis from 5:30 to 7 presenting a program on his new title, "The Lost Cyclist," covering the story of the disappearance in Turkey of young 19th century cyclist named Frank Lenz in the course of his attempt to cycle around the world. Herlihy will give a slide-show presentation featuring never-before-seen photos taken by Lenz. The Avid Reader is pleased to provide books at a booksigning following the event. Entrance for members is free for Hall of Fame members, $5, general. The Avid Reader at 617 Second Street is taking signups. Hours are 10 to 10 every day.
