The Illuminated Landscape: A Sierra Nevada Anthology is a sweeping consideration of the remarkable Sierra Nevada region. This book includes literary descriptions of what the famous naturalist John Muir called the “Range of Light” from the earliest native origin myths to contemporary accounts of those who have recently been inspired by the Sierra experience.
